About Me

I’m Melissa, the heart behind Melissa Ann Hebert Photography. I’m based in Whitsett, North Carolina, and specialize in maternity, newborn, child, and family photography.

Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. From my very first Polaroid camera to my pink 110mm, I was always drawn to capturing memories. But it wasn’t until the birth of my first child that this lifelong love truly became a passion and a calling.

I graduated from Lubbock Christian University with a degree in Business Administration, and while I’m a self-taught photographer, my journey has been shaped by years of hands-on experience, learning, and a deep love for what I do. I officially started my business in July 2008, and I feel incredibly blessed to spend each day doing something that brings me so much joy.

Over the years, I’ve had the honor of photographing more than 1,500 newborns and helping families preserve some of their most meaningful moments. I was also incredibly honored to be voted Burlington’s Best Photographer in the Triad Moms on Main Choice Awards 2026.

My goal as your photographer is to capture the beauty in life’s sweetest seasons and the little moments that make your family unique. I love documenting the innocence of a new baby, the connection between loved ones, and the personalities that make each child so special — whether they’re silly, spunky, shy, or full of sass. These are the moments that matter, and it’s an honor to preserve them in a way you can cherish for years to come.

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m busy being a mom to two amazing children who light up my world. I also love gardening, playing cornhole, relaxing at the beach, and spending time with family and friends. And more often than not, I still have a camera in my hand while I’m doing all of the above.
